Seller Says:
1. What do you love most about Cary?
"The multiple parks, arts and entertainment options, and good restaurants.  Also, Cary is safe enough to walk through at any time of day and consistently ranks among the safest places to live in the US".

2. What are the best things about your neighborhood?
"Maynard Oaks is exactly what neighborhoods used to be.  Kids can ride their bikes or go for walks without worrying for safety.  Neighbors look out for each other and help each other in a pinch.  Parents can frequently be seen chatting at the bus stop long after the buses have left.  There are often neighborhood activities in the Fall in Spring and even a neighborhood garage sale".

3. What are a few of your restaurants or shops?
"We really enjoy eating at Torero's Mexican Restaurant and can (and do) walk to Primo Pizza for a slice. Still walkable, but a  bit further is Sushi-Thai which has phenomenal sushi"!

4. What are some of the best nearby conveniences?
"You can walk to Harris Teeter (the new one opens this Fall), Wells Fargo Bank, Starbucks, and Cary Towne Center Mall.  Some weekends, we don't even use our cars.  Besides having everything in walking distance, the location of the neighborhood allows for easy access to I-40, I-440, and Hwy 1/64.  We can get to most locations within 20 minutes, including the airport, the Raleigh Farmers Market, and Downtown Raleigh (where the free museums are)".

5. What are your favorite things about your home?  The kitchen is my favorite room in the house.  Even if I'm not cooking, I can watch the kids playing in the back yard or the gazebo while I read or work.  All of our friends come in the side door through the kitchen, because they know that's where we'll be.  I also really enjoy our sun room, because it is the perfect spot to escape.  I can close both doors and just relax.  The gazebo is particularly convenient as well as pretty.  We can enjoy the outdoors, even on a rainy day!  It's great for getting fresh air first thing in the morning.

1. What are the things you love most about Raleigh?  "Raleigh doesn't top the best places to live and work lists for no reason. You can truly have it all in Raleigh! It is an amazing community to not only raise a family, but it's also a wonderful place to start a business and have a wonderful career".
2. What are the best things about your neighborhood?  "Great neighbors, active community, beautiful pool and full workout facility. We also have weekly yoga offerings and various community activities throughout the year".
3. What are a few of your favorite nearby restaurants or shops?  "Love getting my Dunkin Donuts coffee in the morning just outside the neighborhood. We love the craft breweries and restaurants like Sono and Poole's Diner in downtown Raleigh. We also love Moonrunners (recently featured on Bar Rescue) for a great burger and adult beverage. During the summer you'll often find us enjoying the beautiful North Carolina weather at Goodberry's.  On the weekends, we often enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Farmers Market and shop for fresh fruits and veggies for dinner that week".
4. What are some of the best nearby conveniences?  "Our home is minutes from downtown Raleigh and I-40.  Very few neighborhoods provide that convenience to downtown shops and restaurants while still showcasing a gorgeous family home and spacious backyard. For errands, I'm so glad we are conveniently located so closely to a beautiful Target, Walmart, a great dry cleaners and several large grocery retailers. I also love that there is a wonderful dog park 5 minutes from the neighborhood!"
5. What are your favorite things about your home?  "I love all of the custom details. There is gorgeous crown molding, tray ceilings, lovely transoms, detailed tiling and custom closets throughout. The builder did a wonderful job with the custom details.
The beautiful, large, private backyard and patio. If you love to entertain or enjoy the outdoors with your family, this is the best backyard in the neighborhood! This home is also wonderful for a family to grow into. With an unfinished third floor, the house can grow with your family. This can be a great long term home for someone. The bedrooms are all so spacious!!"
